Fire Retardant Products Information:
 
Fire Retardant chemicals are blended within the Fire Retardant fabric materials as well as the PVC parts and impregnated into the materials during and after the manufacturing process.  These type of plants shall be documented and certified by the manufacturer in an approved manner.  Grace Designs will also incorporate into the fabric of the plants a pyrolitic product that is formulated to prevent the spread of flame by developing a self-extinguishing reaction. This product has been vigorously tested by NFPA 701 test standards and proved to be effective in fire retardation of 100% synthetic fabrics and synthetic/natural blend fiber to include polyester-cotton blend plants that are used by the company. This formulation was designed to not discolor or change the hand of most fabrics. The smooth surface reduces the dust build-up.
The product used has been tested to meet the flame propagation performance criteria of the following standards: ASTM E-84-95, NFPA 255, UL 723, ANSI/NFPA 255 & NFPA 701.
